Hello! I’m Lily, the illustrator behind Lily Faye Illustration. Based in Nottinghamshire, I share my home with my husband and our two dogs. I create detailed linework illustrations inspired by folklore, nature, and pagan traditions.
I graduated from the University of Lincoln in 2017 with a degree in Illustration Design. Since then, I’ve been dedicated to building my portfolio, refining my style, and growing as a freelance illustrator.
Along the way, I’ve had the pleasure of working with an art licensing company, designing illustrated maps for 'It’s in Nottingham' events, creating zines, and producing an album cover for an indie band. I’ve also completed editorial commissions for LeftLion magazine and illustrated book covers for independent authors. In addition to commissions, I run a small online shop and regularly sell my work at local craft fairs in the East Midlands.
My illustrations are characterised by bold, intricate blackwork, sometimes with a touch of colour from a carefully chosen limited palette. I’m always open to exploring new areas of work and especially enjoy drawing buildings and other subjects where I can add plenty of intricate detail. In my personal projects, I often weave in themes of folklore, the natural world, and pagan traditions, creating work that feels both attentive and reflective.
If you’d like to collaborate, commission artwork, or license my designs, please get in touch through my website’s contact form or email me at lilyfayeillustration@gmail.com. You can also find me on social media under @LilyFayeIllustration.
Thanks for stopping by—I look forward to connecting with you soon! - x
