For the November issue of LeftLion Magazine, Nottingham’s local arts and culture publication, I was commissioned to illustrate the front cover and contribute to their “Undercover Artist” feature. Working to the magazine’s specific sizing and tool requirements, I created an illustration inspired by Newstead Abbey and The Forest, a folklore exhibition happening at the time. The piece weaves together my personal connection to Newstead Abbey with local legend, featuring the iconic White Stag as a central motif.
